Objective: To find out prevalence, risk factors, severity and outcome of neonatal thrombocytopenia (TCP). Study Design: Prospective Observational study. Setting: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Children Hospital Complex Multan. Period: January 2020 to 2021. Material & Methods: A total 191 neonates admitted NICU during the study period were enrolled. special proforma was designed record all information while SPSS version 26.0 utilized for data analysis. Prevalence TCP noted among in period. Maternal recorded. Results: In a neonates, 110 (57.6%) male overall mean age recorded be 2.98+2.46 days. The prevalence 47.1% (90/191). Pregnancy induced hypertension (p=0.0003), premature rupture membrane (p=0.0105) eclampsia (0.0215) found have significant association with presence TCP. Preterm (p<0.0001), small gestational sepsis (p<0.0001) nectrozing enterocolitis (p=0.0014) 13 (6.8%) died, which, 5 (38.5%) having severe Conclusion: at intensive care unit high (47.1%). hypertension, thrombocytopenia.
